Nottingham City Council has created The Nottingham Jobs Fund to help reduce unemployment in young people in Nottingham.
The Nottingham Jobs fund is an initiative that will help businesses in Nottingham, paying 50% of the salary for a new employee who is aged 18 – 24 and has been unemployed. There may also be help with funding for recognised work related training for the employee you take on.
If you’re a business in Nottingham thinking about expanding or looking for an extra pair of hands to help but maybe worried about the risk of taking on any extra costs in the current climate then get in touch with Nottingham City Council as they can help fund that salary.
Nottingham City Council have helped all kinds of businesses in Nottingham from the very small to very large to specialist organisations wanting to train someone in something unique – Nottingham City Council will fund 50% of the salary.
There is also opportunity to receive further funding for your recruit through apprenticeships and other government funded training.
