Victoria Beckham Edits Fashion Magazine
Victoria Beckham has guest-edited the September 2012 issue of Glamour magazine, further boosting her reinvention from pop star to fashion icon.
A video released by Glamour shows the designer and occasional actress at an editorial meeting for the magazine.
The publication’s editor-in-chief, Cindy Leive, gave full credit to Beckham for coming up with the idea of the cover shoot, in which she is featured.
Ms Leive summed its theme up as “a day in the life of a soccer mum.”
The cover shows the 38-year-old mother of four wearing a tiara in a bubble bath.
“I wanted people to really get a sense of me. It’s quite tongue-and-cheek; it’s quite funny,” Beckham said.
The former Spice Girl’s career in fashion includes designing her own brand of denim, dVb Style, bringing out a range of sunglasses and a fragrance, entitled Intimately Beckham, and producing a collection of handbags and jewellery.
