SONG IN MEMORY OF MIGHTY
A song’s been written in memory of Lewis Mighty, who was 7 years old when he sadly passed away in May.
The little boy from Mackworth, Derbyshire, had lost his battle to a rare form of cancer called Neuroblastoma after four years.
Here at Gem 106, we joined thousands of people who were touched by his story and his battle to find treatment.
The family were approached by songwriter Paul Stuart Davies, who wanted to write him a song. Now, the family have decided to release the song to help raise funds for the Lewis Mighty Fund and to raise cash to help improve the children’s ward at Nottingham QMC hospital, where he stayed during his final days.
