Cruise Visits Suri For First Time Since Split
Tom Cruise and his daughter Suri have been reunited for the first time since his high profile split from actress Katie Holmes.
The Mission Impossible star, who recently turned 50, visited his six-year-old daughter in New York where they were pictured together.
The visit followed reports from a police source that Holmes and Suri were involved in a minor car accident in the city on Monday night.
The source said Holmes was travelling in a Mercedes with her daughter when a New York City Sanitation lorry hit the car.
The pair escaped unhurt and no criminal charges are expected to follow the incident.
Suri has been at the heart of the couple’s divorce agreement amid claims that Holmes’ decision to split from her husband of five years centred on their daughter’s future.
Much of the speculation surrounding the split has concerned Cruise’s membership in the Church of Scientology.
The actor was filming his latest movie in Iceland when Holmes, 33, filed for a divorce in June.
Since then, he has returned to the US and the pair have reached agreement on a divorce settlement – including custody arrangements for their daughter – but the details remain undisclosed.
