Dirty Dancing is 25

It’s hard to believe that one of the best chick-flicks of all time is twenty-five years old today. ‘Dirty Dancing’, starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray has become infamous for its racy dance moves and romantic storyline, not to mention the Oscar-winning soundtrack which sold 42 million copies worldwide.

Set in the swinging 60s, the movie tells the story of naive college-girl Frances “Baby” Houseman who goes on a summer break with her parents, only to fall for cool dance-class instructor Johnny Castle.

A staple in any girl’s DVD collection – happy birthday Dirty Dancing, we’re sure we’ll still be watching it in another 25 years!
